About us :
That's us
Almost four years have passed from the initial idea to the opening. We believe that the result is impressive and hope that it will make the municipality of Elmstein a much more attractive tourist destination.
In our search for tourist attractions that both incorporate the landscape and natural surroundings and offer a clear unique selling point, we came up with the idea of a zip line. We are Christof Mahler, Rene Verdaasdonk and Bernd Fink.
Christof Mahler
Christof is the managing director of Abenteuerwerkstatt GmbH in Betzenstein, Upper Franconia. He planned and built the Elmstein Zipline Park. Although his Franconian home is 300 km away from the Palatinate Forest, he embarked on the adventure of building his second zipline park. He opened the first one in Germany in 2011 on the Ochsenkopf.
Rene Verdaasdonk
Rene is the managing director of Ziplinepark Elmstein and an entrepreneur from Iggelbach. His company Lebosol, with locations in Elmstein and Sembach, is the best-known brand in the field of foliar fertilisers in Europe and can look back on a history spanning more than 25 years. He has been committed to the community for many years, not only as a member of the Elmstein Council and the Association Council.
Bernd Fink
Bernd has lived and worked in Elmstein since 2004. Together with Jutta Grünenwald and Bernhard Möhring, he runs a design agency in the former Elmstein South forestry office, serving medium-sized clients from all over Germany in the field of communication design and online marketing. They have been involved in voluntary work in Elmstein for many years, focusing on infrastructure and landscape conservation.
